Learning to Skate

Group Skating Lessons

We are now offering the chance to try before you buy with a free trial group lesson!

To book onto a FREE trial session all you have to do is call our Ice Rink Reception on 01752 93 63 63.

We run regular Group Ice Skating Lessons for both adults and children over 5 years old.

Lessons are taught by our very own BISA (British Ice Skating Association) fully qualified coaches.

Running in blocks of 11-14 weeks depending on the term, the lessons consist of a 30 minute session on the Ice in a group of no more than 12-15 people, followed by 30 minutes of free practice time to fine tune those skills. The groups are split into appropriate levels from Beginners Level 1 through to Advanced Level 8 and on again into Bronze, Silver and Gold. Badges and certificates can be obtained after each Level has been passed. These can be purchased from the Ice Rink Reception along with record of achievement books, and will be signed by a coach to officiate your grade.
